Computers in Class

I was driving home from the gym after two long hours of working on my fitness, and that's when I heard the most ridiculous news. Who would have thought current events would actually be a blog post for college students, but this passing would create a roar on the college nation's decimeter.

There are discussion being talked about in congress or some level of government I don't know, I wasn't paying attention totally, and they are evaluating college classrooms and considering the idea of banning the use of computers from the classroom!!

Imagine college: Listening to a full lecture and not being able to creep people in your class on facebook while you sit behind them... No thanks! I am sure students could create a survey and put two options: A) no computers in class or B)try to escape a dark alley with just you and kimbo slice while he has untreated rabies.. Option B would clearly become the answer of choice.

Teachers, government officials, and even parents need to know that students learn in college how to multi-task, and this is what computers in class provide. Being able to play slime games, check emails, read this blog, post items for sale on CollegeTown Traders, and looking at youtube videos of the 'Retarded Running Horse' all at once... while learning that you have an exam next class are all part of the curriculum and experience.

Students are willing to take out loans that take a lifetime to pay off for the exact reason that they can use their computers in class and learn to pretend that they are listening. If you take this away from students, college as we know it will crumble like Tiger Woods' dignity.

Imagine the life of college with no computers in class... Your Thoughts?

Presents to You

CollegeTown Talk is a blog that is created for and directed towards the college student! The intention is to educate, stimulate, and embrace ideas and topics that all students should be taught, but for some reason these concepts don't quite fit into the higher educations curriculum. The next time your history teacher reprimands the class claiming that students on their computers absorb less information and don't optimize their learning experience, politely under your breath tell he or she to get bent. Here is a blog where students will learn from other students the vital skills to use and not to use throughout your college career. During your next 2 hour lecture about the Byzantine empire, stimulate your mind by joining us on CollegeTown Talk!!!

This blog will cover issues from sex, girls, boys, and toys!! Participation is your only deliverable and will comprise 100% of your grade. Class is in Session!!

This blog will be brought to you by CollegeTownTraders.com
